You’ve probably seen ADR (Average Damage per Round) statistics during professional match broadcasts or at the end of a game in premier mode. If you’re looking for information on what it actually is, you’re in the right place!

The term ADR (Average Damage per Round) in CS2 means your average damage dealt to opponents per round. This indicator is calculated quite simply: all the impact in the form of damage you dealt is divided by the number of rounds played. For example, if you dealt 1500 damage over 13 rounds, you divide this number by 13 and get 115 ADR (1500/13=115).

Of course, in most cases, this statistic shows your impact during the game, but it doesn’t mean you are playing poorly if your ADR is slightly lower than the top player. This is especially noticeable on the professional scene, where full-time riflers accumulate the most ADR, while supports have slightly less, as their main task is to create comfortable conditions for the rifler to have the most impact per round. The support role includes a lot of groundwork, such as throwing flashbangs, opening up first, and so on.
