To join a surf server, you don’t need to search for an IP address. The easiest way is to add the map to your game and enjoy playing on your own server. To do this, you need to add a map from the workshop by subscribing to it first.
Steam has a variety of amazing and colorful maps for servers. Go to the workshop, select one of the maps you like, and click the green “Subscribe” button. That’s it – the map is now in your account!
- Click on the “PLAY” tab: Locate and click on the “PLAY” tab at the top of the screen to open the game mode selection menu.
- Select “WORKSHOP MAPS”: Navigate to the “WORKSHOP MAPS” section, which displays all the maps you’ve added from the Steam workshop.
- Choose the desired map: Find and click on the map you want to play to highlight it.
- Press the “GO” button: After selecting the map, click the green “GO” button at the bottom of the screen to start playing on the chosen map.
